Each candle is hand-dipped, hand-carved, and unique. When you buy your candle from My Candle Garden you are getting an original work of art that is the perfect gift for anyone on your list.
Each oil-burning candle has a fiberglass wick held in place by a clear glass holder. When lit each candle will light up and glow behind the design crafted into the candle.
Following the Burning Instructions listed below will ensure years of enjoyment and use of your candle.
Burning Instructions:
- Fill tube to about ¼ inch from the top with lamp oil*.
- Insert wick assembly with glass tube facing upwards and the fiberglass wick inserted into the oil-filled tube.
- Wick should be nearly flush with the top glass portion of the wick assembly.
- Let wick soak in lamp oil for 30 minutes before lighting.
- Light your candle on the top glass portion of the wick assembly.
- Enjoy!
- To adjust flame height, extinguish the flame and raise or lower wick height once candle has cooled. Flame height should be kept to about ¼ inch to prevent melting the top of the candle.
Cautions:
· Use only lamp oil (liquid paraffin oil) when burning your candle. Never use other fuel types!
· Keep your candle on a level surface and out of reach of children or pets that could easily knock it over. The oil is not sealed in the candle if the candle is tipped it will spill.
